Default Word 2003 View Layout problem

I was working on Word 2003. I accidentally hit some
key combination. Now whenever I open Word, it starts in
split window mode.

I tried to modify the normal.dot file. No luck.

How can I stop Word from starting in split window mode?

If you go to Window Remove split and you close word and restart it, does
it help?
