Recovering the mdb file
Hi,
I am getting an error while trying to open the mdb. "Microsoft Jet Engine cannot process the file as the file is locked by some other user". I tried to repair the mdb using compact and Repair feature in Access. But it throwed me same error message. Is there any way to recover the mdb file? Thanks, Venu |

All users that were logged on must logoff.

Recovering the mdb file
Often the Locks Data Base (.ldb) file will remain when someone has
terminated their Access session in an MDB abnormally. If everyone is out of the application and the Filename.LDB remains, try to delete it. HTH -- -Larry- -- "Recovering the mdb" wrote in message ...
