Default html email with embedded images

Here is my situation:

I received an e-mail with pictures embedded. It looks like it was created
in Word or in Outlook with Word being the editor.
I can view the email with the images just fine. Not one problem.
When I forward the e-mail, the person or persons I forward it too, cannot
see the images, just the X. But the text is as it should be.
The orinignal e-mail has an attached oledata.mso file
Entire email is 8 megs in size on my end, when I forward it, it is only 4
megs in size on the other persons end (one I forward it too).

For now, I asked the sender to resend the email as an attached word
document. What is happening and how can I fix it? This sender does not like
to attach files and is not understanding my problem.

Almost forgot: I am using Outlook Express and the ones I am forwarding the
message too are using either Outlook Express or Outlook 2000. There is no
security message about blocking images.
