Default Grow or shrink entire table.

No need to thank me. I provided an incorrect answer. :-(

Glory, Hallelujah!

I'm a happy camper.
Thanks Klaus and Stefan.
I learned a lot, and ended up getting what I wanted after all.

Ahhh. Life is good.

Hmm... Sorry, Klaus, I misread your post. I was thinking of the

symbol
at the top of the left side of the table... So, indeed, you can

drag
to change the size of the table, but you have to be careful so

that
you don't change the *height* of rows as well!

Yes, dragging can be used to *move* an entire table, but not to
*resize* it!

Dragging cannot be used for the entire table.

It can... In Page Layout view you should see a little white box

on
the
bottom right, which you can drag.

Klaus

Hi Stefan,

Don't be so hard on yourself!!
I had to look to make sure, too, since I have rarely used that "feature".

I wasn't. :-)

However, I did observe that I gave an incorrect answer to the
question: "Can you use the mouse to resize a table, preserving the
relative column widths?"
