How do I make a table repeat itself on the second page in Word?
I have an information table populated with a ton of information... When I
complete the last block on the page and then tab...the next page opens and is a continuation of the last cell I was typing in, along with the header. Instead, when I tab past that last cell on the page and a new page opens, I want to be able to make the entire table reappear on thee page. |

If you're saying you'd like the whole new page to become a blank table, then
you'll require VBA programming to do that. Ask in the Word Programming group. -- ~Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com "pstone50" wrote: I have an information table populated with a ton of information... How do I make a table repeat itself on the second page in Word?
I think that you need to think about the useability of what you are trying
to do. If tabbing in the last cell of the table adds another page to the document, it does that because the page on which the table appears is already full. So, if the table were to be replicated in full on the new page, which would also then be full, where would you enter any new information? Now, there is just one case where that might not be the case, that being when there is some text on the original page above the table so that the table does not take up the full page. Even then though, do you want the table to be repeated or do you want it all to appear on the one page. You can achieve that by formatting all of the pagaraphs in the table so that they are "Kept with Next". You may also need to go into the Table Properties dialog and set it so that the rows are not allowed to break across pages. -- Hope this helps.
