Email body blank when moving to PST with Rules (mostly HTML mail)
We are doing an Office 2007 upgrade from Office XP. During the upgrade we
have noticed this problem with Outlook 2007. For some users the content of html email is not visible when they have rules to move email automatically to a PST. If the rule is disabled and the email lands in Inbox the content is visible. We have tried actions like deleting and creating a new rule, creating a new PST with a new Rule etc. None of it seems to solve the problem! Any ideas? -- CorIT |

Are they using a mix of unicode and ansi psts? Do they have all the latest
updates installed? -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. We are currently running Office 2007 SP1. We have already tried creating a
New PST and delivering the emails there, but that does not help. One importaint thing is that the content actually appears to be stripped off because even the message size is smaller than in computers where it is displaying well. -- CorIT "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: Are they using a mix of unicode and ansi psts? We also just upgraded to office 2007 and I am having the same issue - emails
moved to an external PST is missing the body of the email.. I have noticed that when the email first hits the inbox - before it is relocatedto the other PST - the email body is populated with the correct information - once it is moved the body has been deleted. If I just copy the email to the other PST - the body of the email is present. |
