Default Email Won't open contacts

I've installed office 2003 and am using outlook 2003 to access an ISP provided MS Exchange account. Now, when I write an email and click on TO:, no addresses are brought up to select a recipient (same for From:, CC and BCC). I can open the addressbook or contact folder and they are all there...but nothing appears available when sending an email. Any help would be appreciated. Can you email me a response?

Please explain more clearly.
An ISP provided Exchange Server?
This sentence makes no sense:
"I can open the address book or contact folder and they are all there...but
nothing appears available when sending an email"
Nothing appears where? If the addresses appear in the address book and the
Contacts Folder, where else were you expecting them to appear?
