multivalued lookup columns
The "Do you want to store multiple values for this lookup?" option does not
come up when I try to create a lookup column. Any ideas? Thanks. |

Since neither multivalue fields nor lookup fields are well designed or even necessary, I'd simply avoid the problem by never using either misfeature. -- John W. Vinson [MVP] |

janelegend,
Sounds like you are using a database in Access 2007 but in MDB format. If this is so then no you will not see that option. You would need to convert your database. -- Gina Whipp "I feel I have been denied critical, need to know, information!" - Tremors II http://www.regina-whipp.com/index_files/TipList.htm "janelegend" wrote in message ... If you are trying to do this as part of a table definition, be aware that
lookup data types in tables can cause confusion (see John's response). Also be aware that Access 2007 uses a new file format, .accdb (see Gina's response). If you intend to have users interacting directly with the table, stop now! Access tables store data, Access forms (and reports) display data. -- Regards Jeff Boyce Microsoft Access MVP Disclaimer: This author may have received products and services mentioned in this post.
