PowerPoint: details for setting up a slide show presentation?
I am using PowerPoint in a MS Office XP set.
I have produced a slide show I want to use in a presentation, using a projector. The instructions to set it up - as stated in the " help" area - are supposed to be under the "Slide show" menu, after pressing the button " set up show". My version of PowerPoint, when in the " Slide show" mode, does not have any buttons carrying the label " set up show". Could someone give me the step-by-step details on how to set up the show? By the way, my presentation is in 3 days. |

Don't put the presentation IN Slide Show mode, choose Slide Show from the main menu bar then pick Set Up Show from the options that appear. You don't want to be in Show mode -- as in View/Slide Show -- you want to go
to the *menu* that's named Slide Show. Click on that menu, and you should see an option for Set up Show somewhere on the list. (If you have the downward-pointing chevron at the bottom of the menu, click the chevron to show all the options on the menu.) Does that get you started? -- Echo [MS PPT MVP] http://www.echosvoice.com "Carlos A." Carlos wrote in message ... I am using PowerPoint in a MS Office XP set. I guess I was too set on the " View" button. http://www.echosvoice.com "Carlos A." Carlos wrote in message ... I am using PowerPoint in a MS Office XP set.
