Macros option grayed out in Visio 2003
I have a PC running Windows XP. Within Office 2003 pro (complete install) all
the Macro options are available under the tools menu. I recently installed Visio 2003 pro (complete install) but under the tools menu within Visio the Macros options are grayed out? I have an identcally built PC with Office XP installed, when Visio 2003 is installed Macro options are available. All latest service packs have been applied. How can I get Macro options within Visio 2003 when using Office 2003?

I'd probably go look under tools = options = security = macro security

I checked the macro security and it at present set to medium. I have tried
changing it and restarting Visio but the Macro options are still grayed out? did you install office before or after visio (office 2003 has a nasty habit

I have been using office 2003 for some time before installing Visio 2003. The
macro options are available within word/outlook etc but not in the complete install of Visio? Do you actually have a drawing open? When you first start Visio 2003 and it
gives you the selection of templates, the Macro option is grayed out. Also, following on Al's suggestion, the options on tools = options = security = are all enabled? John...
