Doing multiple actions with a single hyperlink
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows a way to both advance a slide and open a new presentation with one hyperlink click? The drawback is that it needs to be compatible with PowerPoint 2003 Viewer, so macros are out unfortunately. Many thanks. Dave |

It's not really possible but you could try having a transparent full slide
shape on the slide to be opened by the hyperlink and set a mouseover hyperlink to the new presentation on it. -- ----------------------------------------- Did that answer the question / help? _____________________________ John Wilson Microsoft Certified Office Specialist "Dave Ag" wrote: Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows a way to both advance a slide and open a new presentation with one hyperlink click? Doing multiple actions with a single hyperlink
Hi John,
Thanks for the suggestion - it does the job nicely. A full screen mouseover doesn't really work, as it keeps loading the other presentaiton every time you're on the slide, but I've done a much smaller shape in the same place as a "next" button on the previous slide, which solves that. Thanks a lot! Try grouping together the objects and linking it to the on going slide or
file. For example: If you have objects A, B, C, etc (animated or otherwise) on a slide, then group them as one object. Hyperlink the grouped object to a slide or a file. In the presentation A, B, C will appear as three different objects and can be clicked over to go forward to the destination slide or file. -- Curious "Dave Ag" wrote: Hi John, Thanks for the suggestion - it does the job nicely.
