how setup autofilter

when we have autofilter a combobox is available ( my list has more than 700
records of family) i wana search a family for eg Erikson i type
Er.. but in combobox i see just the first letter . my purpose is ; when i
type Er all records that math with Er appear in combobox ( Eri show all
family that begins with Eri and so on) now we can search the first Letter(
only) please help me.
