Ok. In excel 2003 I could adjust the layout of a picture and have it "behind
text", in excel 2007 there is not that option for pictures, for drawing
objects you can do it but not for pictures, so how can I insert a picture
into an excel file and have it print out behind the text?

this question is specific to Excel 2007

also setting the image as a watermark is a waste of time for what I need.

really glad I have not "upgraded" my home machine to office 2007

from memory - in excel 2003 I select the picture, right mouse click - format
picture - go to the tab "layout" and select "in behind text"

I'll double check on my machine at home but pretty sure that is the way I
used to do it.

How do you do this Excel 2003?

What is the format type of the picture you have behind text?

What type of picture?

jpg, bmp, gif or ??

I am not familiar with tab "layout" and "in behind text"

I am not disputing your claim, I am trying to find out what I am possibly
missing.
