Default sheet tabs on multuiple rows

I work with files with many sheets. I often need to switch between the sheet
tabs. Right clicking on the lower left corner and selecting the needed sheet
tab is too cumbersome for me. What about displaying all sheet tabs on as many
tab rows as necessary?

I would suggest sorting your worksheet tabs alphabetically so
that you can find them quickly, and install the following macro
which is the equivalent of right-click on a sheet tabs navigation arrow on
lower left of workbook followed by "More Sheets..." or with a macro
Worksheets in VBA Coding and in Worksheet Formulas

You could also build an index sheet

Default sheet tabs on multuiple rows

Thank you David. Actually I am already using a macro to sort my sheets
alphabetically. The solutions you offer are useful but they are only things
that can be done about the problem. The problem itself remains - Microsoft
should do something to make navigation easier for users who would not dear to
build macros. (I am not afraid to try macros but most people have never heard
that word and do not want to know about it once they hear it would take them
additional learning efforts!)

I think sheets on multiple rows is an elegant solution and I guess it is not
difficult to make.

Also: I think an option to move the sheet row to top moght be good, too, I
personally would prefer to have the sheet tabs just under the menu bars.

With 208 worksheets one would not be able to tell if the
worksheet rows were at the top or at the bottom if the tabs
are to appear on multiple rows and that's assuming that I
got an even larger monitor than this crappy old monitor
that I just bought three weeks ago as it is only displaying
1280 x 1024. I guess I'm old fashioned but I've become
accustomed to being able to my data.

With 208 not, but with 20 or 30 sheets on multiple rows could be quite useful.

With 60 or hundred sheets multiple rows can be still be useful with vertical
scroller added.
