Switchboard Manager
I am trying to create a switchboard in Access 2000 but I get the error
"ActiveX component can't create object. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Well you're lucky you can't use the Switchboard Manager. It's been said in these newsgroups that the built-in Switchboard Manager is a complicated solution to a simple problem. You will be much better off creating your own switchboard using an unbound form with command buttons. If you use the Command Button wizard when adding the buttons, Access will even write most of the code for you. You will not be limited to 8 buttons on a form and you'll have more control over it's appearance. Best of all, maintenance will be easier. -- Fred Please respond only to this newsgroup.
