group on first line instead of offset
I have a feature question that I don't know if it exists. In an access 2007
report, I have a group setup to contain a client group and then below it is the individual clients and other information. From a formatting perspective I would like to have that group name be on the same row (or on the same level however it is stated) of the first client in that group. i.e. Group1 Client1 Client2 Group2 Client3 Is that possible? |

Add the group control to the same line.
Set the control's Hide Duplicates property to yes (property is on the format tab. Now the control will not print when it has the same as the previous record. It MIGHT repeat on the next page. I can't recall. John Spencer Access MVP 2002-2005, 2007-2009 The Hilltop Institute University of Maryland Baltimore County icccapital wrote: I have a feature question that I don't know if it exists. Thanks John,
While Marshall's suggestion was a good one as well, this one will work better for my purposes. Thanks to you both, i didn't know about those features.
