Default The Ribbon

Can you move the *&^%$ ribbon to side so I can have my screen back

Right click it and check 'minimise the ribbon'

Default The Ribbon

In addition to Graham's fix, know that you can just double click any
of the tabs and that move will toggle the ribbon from full to
minimized.

While minimized, you can still click on any tab to display that part
of the ribbon, but it'll disappear when done.

If want it back to full all the time, just double click a tab again to
return it.

Works the same as the right click Graham suggested...I just find the
double clicks faster for me.
