Default Automatic insertion of picture filename into caption text box

How do I automatically insert image filenames into caption boxes? I have a
folder full of jpg files. I want to insert pictures into picture boxes, and
then insert
the appropriate captions (consisting of filenames) into text boxes
underneath each picture. I'm using PowerPoint 2007 and I'd like to automate
this process. Thanks.

Hi

You can use the Photo Album feature for this:
1. Insert - Photo Album - New Photo Album
2. Click 'From file/disc' and browse to the folder containing your pics
3. Select the pictures you want (hold ctrl while clicking them or click
first one then hold shift & click last one if you want them all) - insert
4. Under Album Layout select '1 picture' from Picture Layout dropdown.
5. Change Frame Shape & Theme if you want to
6. Tick 'Captions below ALL pictures' box (this option is greyed out if you
select Fit to Slide Picture Layout option)
7. Click Create.

Hope that helps,
Lucy

Default Modify Captions

I have creared a Photo Album with 200 image slides. I am unable to determine how to globally format the size of the captions (filenames) so I don't have to edit each slide individually. How can I do this?
