Default edit distribution list

Two Questions:
1. Sometimes when I edit a distribution list in Outlook Office, it adds the
new names and deletes the old ones!!

2. I just tried to add names and it tells me, the names have not been added
to the server. press F9 to synchronize names. I do that and nothing happens,
it won't let me save and close the update.

You must post your information store and the method by which you are adding
names to the DL for anyone to be able to start on this. It is best to create
a Contact first, then add that Contact as a member to the DL.
