Default Fehler b Auswerten einer Funktion, eines Ereignisses oder eines Ma

When using a program requiring MS access, the following error message is
received during installation:

Beim Auswerten einer Funktion, eines Ereignisses oder eines Makros trat
möglicherweise ein Fehler auf

Just to make sure that the program CD isn't corrupt, I tried the program on
my husbands PC and it works perfectly there. Any suggestions how to fix it?
Please keep in mind that I am just a user and only have basic knowledge of
Office.

Perhaps you might find responders who can better translate the German error
message in one of the German-language newsgroups... hurry... most or all of
the sponsored newsgroups will close 1 June 2010.

This MIGHT be a References error.

Open the database on this computer, holding down the Shift key to bypass any
startup code, and press Ctrl-G to open the VBA editor. On the menu select
Tools... References. Are any marked MISSING? If so, uncheck that reference,
and close and open Access, and try again.

If that fails, open with the shift key, press ctrl-g, and select Debug...
Compile my project. Do you get any error messages?
