Default how do I find and change a DNS address

I keep receiving a "system administrator" message to one only e-mail address
that says" 450 [tempfail] destination not valid with DNS.
I am using a netgear router and other computers connected to the router can
reach the same e-mail address.
Is there something awray with my laptop e-mail settings?

Driving me bonkers! Any thoughts?

you can try clearing the dns cache on the laptop - at the start menu, run
command type
ipconfig /flushdns

double check the address to make sure you don't have a typo in it - for
example, look for spaces at the beginning and end and make sure dots are
periods, not commas etc.
