how do I find and change a DNS address
I keep receiving a "system administrator" message to one only e-mail address
that says" 450 [tempfail] destination not valid with DNS. I am using a netgear router and other computers connected to the router can reach the same e-mail address. Is there something awray with my laptop e-mail settings? Driving me bonkers! Any thoughts? |

you can try clearing the dns cache on the laptop - at the start menu, run
command type ipconfig /flushdns double check the address to make sure you don't have a typo in it - for example, look for spaces at the beginning and end and make sure dots are periods, not commas etc. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Frank" wrote in message ...
