Default Importing OE Groups

I use outlook Express for e-mail and the Windows Address Book for contacts.
I have several large groups setup in the Windows Address Book. I need to
convert everything to Outlook. I know how to export the contacts from the
address book to a file and then import them into the Outlook contacts.
However, that does not export the groups. Is there any way to get the groups
into Outlook?

Not reliably. In some versions importing from OE to Outlook will preserve
groups and convert them to DL's. Usually it doesn't work. There is no
counterpart for groups in Outlook. These two programs have nothing in
common.

That's what I was afraid of.

Perhaps there would just be a way to get them into some other form. I could
easily recreate the DL's in Outlook if could just somehow get the names and
addresses transferred.

The names and addresses will be imported when you import from OE.
