Why are you enclosing your terms in quotation marks? Why not tell us exactly
what you want to do using terms we all understand? Everyone knows that you would never use a 'distribution list' to do send individualized messages. What are you doing? What do you want to do? If you need help posting clearly, read the following: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=555375 -- Russ Valentine "pm_sam" wrote in message ... hi community... To do that you'll need to mail merge to e-mail. What version of Office are
you using? -- -Ben- Ben M. That would require using a mail merge to your Contacts. You could not use a
distribution list for this. You'll find instructions in the Help files and several online sites such as http://www.gmayor.com/mailmerge_from_outlook.htm -- Russ Valentine "pm_sam" wrote in message ... hi Russ thank you for a detailed reply. am trying to send personalized emails to everyone, with one message. ...so in the TO field only their email address is shown, not everyone else's. all help and advice greatly appreciated. best. A distribution List is one way to create a group of email addresses so that
you can send a single message to multiple recipients. If you want to send an individualized message to multiple recipients, you must use a mail merge to electronic mail. You cannot do a mail merge to a DL. You can only merge to Contact Records. -- Russ Valentine "pm_sam" wrote in message ... hi thank you for such detail.
