How do I set the text editor in Outlook 2003?
I have Outlook 2003 on my machine, as well as both Word 2003 and 2007 (don't
ask). When I write a new message, I get a dialog box that informs me that (I paraphrase/don't have it in front of me) Word is somehow unavailable, and asks me if I want to use the native Outlook editor. How do I set one or the other version of Word as the editor for e-mail, please? By the way, the answer to that question would include how to configure the options so that I may choose from one of two versions of Word. Failing that, how do I set the Outlook editor so that above-mentioned dialog box doesn't come up all the time? Thanks. |

Outlook 2003 cannot use any version of Word other than Word 2003.. Repair your Office 2003 installation. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
