Default import database diagram to database template?

There is a data model diagram created in Visio Standard 2007, which does not
have the Database templates. I want to import/convert it to my Visio
Professional 2007 Database Data Model Template so I can tweak its connectors
and generally expand on it. Is this possible? I have tried to copy and paste
individual 'tables', but it does not paste anything. Do I have to re-enter
EVERYTHING? Thank you --

What your faced with is the diagram from standard v2007 does not have the
associated code tagged to it, it's just a drawing. You're stuck in a
recreate mode if you want the smarts that professional v2007 can add to it.
