linked emails after archiving
I have just started linking emails to my contacts, I have also started
archiving my emails, when an email moves to the archive folder it is no longer linked to the contact. Is there a way to change this? I am running windows xp home sp2, outlook 2003. First time user. |

To answer the first part of the question:
what do you mean by you've just started linking emails to contacts? They are already "linked" to them. Have a look on the Activities Tab of each Contact (wait a few seconds) and you'll see all Items that relate to that Contact (as long as they're not yet filed away into Archive.pst or any other ..pst file) Judy Gleeson, MVP Outlook Acorn Training and Consulting www.acorntraining.com.au Everyone - turn on your Advanced Toolbars and learn how to use the Field Chooser and Group by Box!! And to see items in the archive .pst file, you'll need to create new activities groups (on the Properties dialog for the Contacts folder) that show the archive .pst file's folders. You can't use one group to see items in two different .pst files.

linked emails after archiving
I have opened up several contacts and not all of their emails are linked. you
did answer part of my question saying they are no longer available to view if they have been archived. is there a setting to be able to view them from the contact after archiving?
