Default Outlook 2003 won't close

Outlook 2003 won't close, stays in memory with Word 2003 also when closing I
have to close both process with Task manager.

Running Win XP Pro, 2GB Ram, Intel Pentium 4 3GB.
The problem started a while ago but I can't related to anything else.
Any help?

Wait a couple minutes and then kill any remnant outlook.exe and
winword.exe processes using Task Manager. Then load Outlook in its safe
mode ("outlook.exe /safe"). That will NOT load any add-ons that you
installed into Outlook. When you then exit Outlook, is the problem
still there?

When I ran it in safe mode, Outlook process stayed in memory but Word did
not, it was removed from memory.
Any other help?

I've found the problem, it was the Itunes Addin which was installed by
Itunes, when I deselected, the problem went away.
Thanks for the help.
