Default VCards do not contain fax numbers

Hello,
When I export my vcard from my AD2003/Exchange 2003 environment, the fax
number field is blank.
I have populated all fields for all users in AD and I'm getting reay to let
everyone know they can use the feature - but I need to find a solution so it
includes their fax number.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Paul

How are you exporting it? When I save a contact from Outlook as a vCard
file, the fax number is included.

I am in Outlook, extracting my own vcard from my Active Directory account.
Everything comes over but the fax number.

Brian - here are the instructions of what i am trying to accomplish:

Open Outlook.

From the Tools menu select Options.

Click the Mail Format tab on the Options window to bring the panel forward.

Click the Signature button, located on the Mail Format panel.
Click the New button to create a new signature.
On the Create New Signature window –

· In the top text field, enter a name to identify your signature
(note: this is just an identifier and not the text that displays as your
signature).

· Select Start with a blank signature.

Click Next.
In the text area, type in the information you want to include in your
signature.
Click the New vCard from Contact button.
Select your name from the Glocal Address Boook in the Select contacts to
export as vCards window and click the Add button. Click OK.

Click Finish.

Your new signature with vCard attachment has now been created and will
appear in the Create Signature window. Click OK.

You will again see the Mail Format window.

From the Signature for new messages drop-down field, select your new
signature.

From the Signature for replies and forwards, you may also select your new
signature. (not recommended)

Click Apply and OK to close the Mail Format window.

Have you tried adding the GAL entry to Contacts first? You can check what it contains and then create a vCard.

WARNING: Using a GAL entry for your signature vCard, even if you go through a contact, will leak out any personal information such as home phone and home address that the GAL contains. I recommend strongly that you edit the vCard by hand in Notepad so you know what it contains. You can also use that technique to add any missing information such as a fax number. Create a dummy contact record, save it as a vCard .vcf file, then open it in Notepad to get the format for each element right.
