Default contacts folders not visible

One of the 3 folders under contacts is not available when I go to send an
e-mail. It is clearly visible in contacts tab.

State Outlook version, how you configured the Outlook Address Book and what
you mean by "one of the 3 folders 'under' contacts"

The crystal ball (the only tool I have to use, since you posted so little
information, like your Outlook version, for starters and whete you're
looking for what is not visible), says to right-click the folder that
doesn't show (the crystal ball says you can't find it in the Address Book),
choose Properties, select the Outlook Address Book tab, and check the box
labeled "Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book". Click OK

Next time, don't make the crytal ball work so hard. I had to cast three
extra power-up spells to get it to tell me this information.

Sorry about the lack of info; Outlook 2003 from office pro (11.8.....). I had
separated my contacts into 3 subfolders under contacts (lot of contacts) for
the 3 organizations I am involved in. The problem is, when I go to compose an
email and click on the 'to or cc etc.' I only see (reference) 2 of the three
folders. Where did the 3rd one go? Hope that helps.

the right click did the trick and followed the tabs until I saw the "show
this folder ...etc." Thanks; you can ignore the earlier reply. Outlook does
not seem intuitive to me so wondered if there is a cookbook available.
Thanks again
Bob
