Tallying and Synchronizing Outlook Contacts
In Outlook 2003 I can't determine the total number of contacts I have (I
tried selecting Properties). I need to know this to compare the total Outlook contacts on my computer versus the total number on my wireless device address book (I think there is a significant discrepancy that occurred during synchronizing). Further, my Outlook contacts are organized by first name, and I've weeded out duplicates that are simply email addresses, prior to synchronizing with my wireless device address book. However, my wireless device now contains a huge number of addresses (more than I suspect I have in Outlook) and worse, it also contains duplicates and contacts that are simply email addresses which I had weeded out of my Outlook contacts. Any suggestions on what the problem is, and what to do next? Thanks! |

Tallying and Synchronizing Outlook Contacts
Outlook will show the number of entries in any folder in the Status bar.
Synchronization issues are not Outlook issues. You need to take them up in a forum that supports your synchronization software. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Coastal" wrote in message ...
