Default phone number without spaces

how can i set phone number format to remove embedded space (automatically
inserted after country code)

e.g. it should be
+9122xxxxxxxx
(so that i can sync with my handphone)

and not +91 22xxxxxxxx
(the space is automatically added).

Your 'handphone' should still recognize the phone number, no? I sync with my
Blackberry, and have spaces...

You can't. Masking of phone numbers in Outlook is hard coded.
