PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP
Please can someone help me immediatly. I have a form with a field on it that
is attached to a table. when a agent creats a audit they click on this drop list to show all the groups in this table and they select one. The problem is if the group is not in the table they put a new group # in the field and it takes. This cause the report to not populate because it is not finding the group #. My questio is how can I set the field so if an input is made that does not match the table that field is pointing to it rejects the data and prompt the user that this id is not found. Please Help |

Open the form in design view and open the properties dialog for the combo box
(drop list) in question. Then goto the Data tab and set the 'Limit To List' property to Yes. -- Hope this helps, Daniel Pineault http://www.cardaconsultants.com/ For Access Tips and Examples: http://www.devhut.net Please rate this post using the vote buttons if it was helpful.
