Outlook Contact List
In the course of upgrading my Palm OS, I managed to
remove my contact list from both my PDA and Outlook XP. The only glimmer of hope is that the names, phone numbers and e-mail addresses seem to still be in my personal address book in Outlook. How do I import the existing data back into my contact list? |

Outlook Contact List
Please provide more accurate detail.
Specify your Outlook version. Explain what you mean by "Contact List" Explain what you mean by "Personal Address Book." Outlook hasn't used a PAB for several years. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Joe" wrote in message ... Outlook Contact List
I am running Office XP which translates to Outlook 2002-SP3.
Contact list is the database of names, addresses, phone numbers... listed under Contacts in the personal folders. Under Contacts in the Tools Menu I can select to show names from Contacts (lost) or the Personal Address Book which seems to contain abbreviated data. I can't help but think that my entire missing database is lurking somewhere nearby (wishful thinking). Thanks! ----- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] wrote: ----- Please provide more accurate detail. Outlook Contact List
You need to tell us how you are configured and the steps that created this
problem. Outlook 2002 does not use the Personal Address Book as a data repository, unless you expressly regressed your settings to set it to do so. Did you? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Joe Lipton" wrote in message ... I am running Office XP which translates to Outlook 2002-SP3.
