Default unbound text box

In Access 2000 , when entering text in unbound text box it repeats for every
record. Does not do this at home only at church office.

This is a datasheet? If so, it's by design.

Ummm... then there is something different between your home and office
databases! An unbound field in a continuous form WILL repeat; it
*appears* to be many textboxes, but it's actually only one textbox
displayed repeatedly.

Doublecheck the Control Source property of the textbox on the church
database; is it in fact blank? Or might there be another (bound)
textbox overlaying this one?
