Default Saving Another user's Distribution List to my Outlook

Using Outlook 2000.

I have a DL from a former staff that I need to incorporate into my Contacts
for a monthly mailing sent from Outlook.

Please tell me there's an easy way to do this, so that I don't have to
retype them all. If not, alas typing away I shall be!

Thanks very much!

A bit more information I failed to state. I have the DL in an email
attachment as a .msg. Clicking on it pulls up the list.

That won't work. You need to have the DL sent as an Outlook Item in an RTF
message if you are going to transfer it by email.

I actually found a great workaround. Saved the list as a .txt, imported into
Excel, and simply copied/pasted into a new DL. Took only a few minutes, and
now I'm good to go!

Thank you Russ.

That will work as long as the addresses are formatted in a way that they can
be resolved by Outlook.
