What fields are you trying to edit? The email address fields cannot be edited in a folder view.

You would need to open the item and edit it in its own window.

The address fields are on the General page, the one that you see when you first open the item. They are also present on the All Field page.

how do i edit fields in contacts view
I would like to have 7 or 8 numbers showing when I open each of my contacts.
How do I do that? How do I change the categories already exsisting under Phone numbers in each card? You would need to customize the contact form, publish the new form, and make it the default. These pages should help you get started:
http://www.outlookcode.com/d/forms.htm http://www.outlookcode.com/d/contactform.htm http://www.outlookcode.com/d/newdefaultform.htm You cannot change the phone number fields listed in the dropdown list. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "Eliav" wrote in message ...
