Opening PDF files
I have a new computer (HP) with Windows 7 that I installed. it came with
Vista. I cannot open any PDF files. Windows Picture Manager tries to open PDF attachments and I get a picture of the Adobe Reader logo that I cannot do anything with. The tools that come up are for managing photographs. I have reinstalled Adobe and Acrobat. |

Well, have you checked your file associations to make sure they are correct?

I have reinstalled Adobe and Acrobat. Adobe is a company. It's too big to fit on your computer. ;-) Acrobat is one of Adobe's products. Do you actually have Acrobat or do you have the free Reader? What happens when you start Acrobat on its own (ie rather than by doubleclicking a PDF icon)? If it starts normally, can you use File, Open from it to open PDFs? |
