When excel opens..
Are you Amy from Canada?
if yes, it's not necessary to multipost your question. If you're not, never mind! AFC (Amy from Canada) got this reply: This link will give you a macro that you could put into your personal.xl* workbook (so it runs whenever you open excel): http://support.microsoft.com/default...;en-us;Q293820 But Jim Rech has posted this registry tweak (only if you're comfortable with messing with the windows registry): Add the Dword item "DoNotDismissFileNewTaskPane" under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\C ommon\General and assign it the value 1. When excel opens..
With Excel 2002 open, click on 'Tools'
Then click 'Options' Among the tabs along the top, click on the 'View' tab Place a checkmark in the box for 'Startup Task Pane' This should place the New Workbook box along the right-hand side of the window. It could also show one of these following windows: - Clipboard - Search - Insert Clip Art If so, then click on the drop down arrow next to the name of the window and change it to the one you prefer.
