Default Word XP uses wrong software for 'email recipient..' command

A user of mine is using Word XP. When she hits the 'Email Recipient...'
button, Word tries to launch Outlook Express (which is not configured on the
PC) to send the email. Outlook XP is installed and is set as the default
application for email.

Outlook is usning a third party IMAP server with a proprietary connector
between Outlook and itself. This connector is essentially packaging what
might be setup in any IMAP config.

How do we set Word to use Outlook and not Outlook Express?
