Fax Console Requires Refresh
I am using microsoft fax with outlook xp.
The fax console has just started requiring a refresh after each new fax is received before it will show it in the inbox. This was not always the case. How do I reconfigure it to always show new faxes without refreshing once again? |

Try archiving to a new folder.

There is no use of the term "archive" in my version of the Fax Configuration
Wizard. When you write "archive(ing)", do you mean "store a copy in a folder" under Routing Options in the Fax Configuration Wizard? Fax Console Requires Refresh
No.
Faxes you have received are automatically archived in the Fax Console's Inbox and faxes you have sent are archived in the Fax Console's Sent Items Folder. You can easily access these folders from Windows Explorer. The default location of these folders is: drive:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows NT\MSFax\ I'm suggesting you create a new archive folder (your current one may be full), then set the Fax Console to store received faxes in the new folder. This option is very easy to find in the Fax Console's options. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "ctc" wrote in message ... I meant, "Yes" with the rest of the explanation that followed.
