0x80040109 error when sending from SSL SMTP
I just recently started having problems sending mail (and sometimes
receiving) from this SSL server, as well as from another SSL server and sometimes my local server. There is no explanation of this error which I could find on the MS website. I did find something at SmartComputing, but even after I tried all the ideas, it didn't help. I also wrote to support at the SSL server, but they haven't been able to help me. This is the smartcomputng linK http://www.smartcomputing.com/messag...=&pg=76&uname= |

I forgot to mention, I also get one or both of the following errors. For
example, just now I got all three: 0x8004210B 0x800CCC0F |

Does your server require SSL and do you have it set?

I'd check your settings. If you still have the problem then enable logging
and post your log file inline here. http://support.microsoft.com/default...;en-us;Q300479 "krouse" wrote in message news yes to both... "we do not relay" is clear. It thinks the message is coming from someone
else either via the IP address you are sending from or by your email adress used. Some ISPs put rules in place to try and ensure that email is only sent from users of that service. "krouse" wrote in message ... This problem is so unpredictable, it's hard to diagnose or describe it. Lately I have been getting error msgs in my Inbox after sending most emails on the SSL server (keep reading below): --------------------------- "Undeliverable: .." Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients. I recorded the log for the one which did not send and prompted 2 errors in the SEND/RECEIVE PROGRESS box (0x8004210B "operation timed out" and 0x800CCC0B "unknown error" ).
