Pcitures in Word do not show

Pcitures do not show in the document. I have tried all of the various
suggestions posted here and still cannot get the pictures to consistently
show in the document. Does anyone have any suggestions I might try.

I have unchecked picture placeholders under tools options, adjusted the
video accelerator and adjusting layout type for the picture. The problem has
appeared in the last couple of months and I am wondering if a Microsoft
Update might be responsible for the problem appearing. Everything had been
working fine.

I have unchecked picture placeholders in tooloptions, adjusted the layout
options for picitures and adjusted the video accelerator. I am suspicious of
a Microsoft Update being the cause of the problem since it appeared all of a
sudden. Everything had been working fine for sometime.

Hi,

You don't say which version of Word you're using, which might be a factor.

Check out the solutions suggested here, which aren't necessarily limited to
Word 2000:

Thanks! I am using Word 2003. "Fast Save" is unchecked as the article
suggests. Are you possibly aware of some interferrence that recent Microsoft
Updates might have had and caused such a problem?

I'm not aware of any updates that might cause this, but I use Word 2000
anyway.
