Default Lost Code Key

I have lost the code key to my set of Microsoft Office
2000 CD's. Can I locate the code key on my CD's or look
somewhere on my computer to find it?

Please help!

If you want to keep track of all of the product keys used on you computer,
go to this site and
download their free Personal PC Audit and it will find all your keys so you
can print them out for future reference.

http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

I heard about it on the Kim Komando computer show on the radio which
broadcasts every Saturday morning.

You should be able to open any office program and go to
help and about and you should see your number there. If
you still have troubles you can call microsoft and tell
them what you do know and they will ask you for a number
off the cd itself and could generate you a new key.

Try he

When you get your new key, Open Word/create file/name it "program key codes" or whatever, using belarc/aida/majic jelly bean and backup to file all you installation codes. Print a copy as an added reference source.

Erm, no, he can't. That's the Product ID, *not* the installation key - they
are NOT the same thing at all.

/What/ "number off the CD"?! There is no number on the CD! They will ask you
for the PID (see above) and will then generate a new key, at their
discretion as Office 2000 is no longer supported. If it's OEM the OP should
refer to their OEM supplier (usually the system manufacturer).

Default Lost Code Key

Deb -

I have the same problem. I have my Product ID number (20
digits) but it is asking for the "11 digit CD Key code".
This I don't have. I ask Deb's problem again - how do I
find the lost key code?
