Default Table issues.....

Alright, here is my problem.

I made a table in excel and I copy it over to word. I paste it in word and
input a picture in one merged cell. Save and then close. When i reopen the
file the table has now split the merged cell and the picture is moved. It
doesnt do it to every file, some files are fine and stay the way i saved
them. How do i fix the issue so that the table stays the way i saved it.

Hi Ian,

What version of Word and Excel?

What are the steps you're using to create the 'merged cell'?
