Looking to automate the creation of an org chart from a spreadshee
Good afternoon,
Is there a way (using Access OR Excel) to automate creating an organizational chart from a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet? I'm brainstorming now, and seeing if someone can help me make it happen. Thank you!!! ~judi |

Oranization Charts can either be created manually or automaticall through a
macro. Looking to automate the creation of an org chart from a spread
Thank you. I added that into VBE, but I'm a beginner with that program, and
I'm getting an error. Obviously, I will need to change some of the script from below, but I just don't know what it is I need to personalize. Sub UseDiagram() Dim wksOne As Worksheet Dim shpOrgChart As Shape Set wksOne = ActiveSheet 'Add organization chart diagram to current worksheet. Set shpOrgChart = ActiveSheet.Shapes.AddDiagram _ (Type:=msoDiagramOrgChart, _ Top:=10, Left:=15, Width:=400, Height:=475) 'Add first node to organization chart. shpOrgChart.DiagramNode.Children.AddNode 'Notify user of the number of nodes added to the diagram. MsgBox shpOrgChart.Diagram.Nodes.Count End Sub More help please! Thank you!!! "Gary''s Student" wrote: Oranization Charts can either be created manually or automaticall through a macro.
