Default Blank records added

I have an Access 2000 database linked to a VB 6.0
interface. When a new request is submitted through VB and
added to the database, a blank record is added along with
the information that the user submitted. I have another
VB interface designed so that the user can check the
status of his/her request. When they do this, all they
see is the blank record. I have to manually delete this
record from the database. Any thoughts on how to
eliminate this. Thank you for your help.

I never had this in VBA code in Access so I would suggest checking the code
in your VB Front-End. If you are sure about your VB Front-End, try the
Microsoft Knowledge Base.
