User defined fields Outlook 2003 & 2007
I need to import a .csv contact list into a contact folder where I have
CREATED NEW USER DEFINED FILDS such as, Special needs, Health Factors, etc.. How can I make these fields visible so I can map custom fields into them? Does this work the same in Outlook 03 and 07? Thanks |

You cannot import user defined fields using the Outlook Import wizard in
any version of Outlook whether the UDF's are simply added to the folder or as part of a custom form. You may find the solutions provided here of interest: http://www.contactgenie.com/cg20features.htm or the other alternative is to write your own code. User defined fields Outlook 2003 & 2007
As a follow-up question, does anyone know how to input more than one value
into an user-defined field? For example, my user-define field is called "Industry" and under that I want to have three possible values, "Retail," "Chemicals," and "Tech." Is there any way that I can type in values so that this contact has both the Retail and the Tech values? Right now if I type in "Retail, Tech" it shows up as "Retail, Tech" instead of "Retail" and "Tech."
