Default Cant get a contact out of draft folder

I am using XP and Outlook 2007.

I created a new contact, and something happened during entry to corrupt file
and outlook closed down. I opened it and part of the information was still
there. I tried to add more, and outlook closed down again.

I can open it, but cannot add more data without it locking up and shutting
down. I try to delete it, it asks this item has been changed, are you sure,
and I click yes, and it is still in the drafts folder. I try to save and
close it, and it still says in the draft folder. I close the window with the
X and it says do you want to save changes, (even if I don’t make any) I say
yes and it still stays in the drafts the folder

How can I remove it?
Thanks
