Too many contact lists!
When I enter names of recipients in my e-mails, Outlook is unable to locate
the entries in my Contacts folder. When I open the address book, 'Contacts' appear twice in the drop down list of address lists. Selecting the first of these generates an error message 'The address list could not be displayed'. There are seven and all are empty except for the last one which is my contacts. How do I get the spurious ones to go away? |

Answered here many times. Method depends on your version, which you did not
bother to post. Just find one of the posts that already answers your question and that applies to your version. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Detour" wrote in message ... No problem. In Outlook 2003 you remove old or invalid references to Contacts
Folders from the address book he Go to Tools E-mail accounts View or change existing directories or address books Outlook Address Book Changeā¦ Surprised it didn't turn up on a search as many times as I've posted this. How did you search? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Detour" wrote in message ... Sorry Russ. I am using Outlook 2003. I searched (maybe I missed it but could not find one specific to 03? Thanks!
